Today as you fell asleep in my arms, tears poured down my face because I am afraid that soon I will forget these precious moments with you. I always want to remember the way you feel warm and cuddled in my arms and the look of your delicate, porcelain, innocent face as you slowly drift asleep. I have so much to learn from you – your love of life and your curiosity to know and experience the world around you. I wish I could smile only half as much as you do. I pray every day that God will give you a sweet, kind, humble spirit and it seems He is already answering my prayers. Praise God for this amazing miracle. I love you my dear, precious Elise.
