Our friendship took off early last summer. Somehow, our mutual love for photography pretty much fell out of nowhere at exactly the same time. Diana was in Florida studying interior design, and I was in New York in the middle of my law school career. Diana and I are certainly not believers in anything occurring at random, however, so we truly believe that God brought this huge blessing to both of us at the same time to bring us together and to bless us with a wonderful and precious friendship. I don’t even have words to describe how much Diana’s friendship has meant to me over the past year, and who knows where I would be in my photography career if it wasn’t for her encouragement and support. Our friendship goes way beyond our common love for photography, however, and we have bonded pretty much like sisters separated at birth. Diana is always uplifting, has a sweet heart, is an amazing and dedicated friend, and last but not least, a photography genius. This past year we have spent countless weekends together shooting weddings, working on photography projects, or just hanging out for fun with our husbands. Last fall, Diana and her husband Adrian came to NYC to visit us. Since they are not only our good friends but a stinkin’ gorgeous couple, we went to the beautiful Central Park for some photos. Because they don’t get to enjoy the fall season in Florida, they were ecstatic to be surrounded by the colorful scenery. I came across these photos the other day and was filled with joy because of my fond memories with Diana as we started out our journeys in photography together. Be sure to check out Diana’s blog here, but I’m warning you, you will instantly be addicted!
I know what you’re thinking. These really are my friends and no, I did not hire professional models. =)
