A few weeks ago, Brooklyn Bride announced a competition encouraging vendors to created various “modern tablescapes.” I jumped at the opportunity and contacted Jessica of Etre Events, who was also excited to put something together. We wanted to put a “funky” twist on the modern look, so Jessica suggested adding some African fabrics and other accents to the decor. She also had the brilliant idea of using records as chargers and adding some musical instruments. The result was a fun and colorful mix of fabrics, place settings, and centerpieces. We chose the lovely local Brooklyn restaurant, Ici, as our venue, and all the decor was purchased locally in Brooklyn. Check it out!
